The Role

IRIS.TV is looking for a dynamic Technical Account Manager to support our Publisher customers globally. The chosen candidate will be a part of the Platform Operations team and will be responsible for leading the integration and technical support of IRIS.TV's publisher and broadcaster customers across Connected TV and Online Video platforms. You will be responsible for publisher onboarding, QA, and technical maintenance across all integration points. This person will interface with customers through all steps of the client lifecycle and across all products available in the IRIS.TV Video Data Platform. Through your efforts, you will improve customer adoption and retention while building lasting relationships with our publishers technical counterparts.

Success in this role will depend on discipline, operational excellence, and communication; the best candidate will bring a deep technical understanding and tested client communication skills.


Location

Los Angeles, NYC or Philadelphia is preferred but open to US - Remote.


Responsibilities

  • doneManage day-to-day publisher client onboarding and technical support items for IRIS.TV’s video data platform. Coordinate internal and external kick-off calls and lead the transition of clients into the integration and maintenance phases of the relationship lifecycle.
  • doneCommunicate technical information and health metrics to Publishers and ensure they leverage IRIS.TV effectively and are extracting maximum value.
  • doneProactively identify client issues through IRIS.TV’s available tools and triage urgent issues across products for active publishers.
  • doneDevelop and share best practices with team members to continually improve operational efficiency, quality of work, and platform effectiveness.
  • doneWork with Ad Platforms leads to ensure all publisher partners are passing applicable IRIS key values to all Ad Server, SSP, and DSP partners in the correct manner.
  • doneCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams on technical setup for publishers.
  • doneMaintain client-facing documentation for all integration aspects across all partners.
  • doneCollaborate with our Analyst and Planning Operations leads to ensure all publisher data is flowing to internal business intelligence platforms.
  • doneDevelop an in-depth understanding of IRIS.TV’s technology and underlying architectures and be able to translate technical concepts to a variety of internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

  • doneA minimum of 2 years of technical account management or solutions engineering experience required.
  • doneA minimum of 4 years experience at a digital media publisher and/or ad-tech company preferred.
  • doneKnowledge of video content management systems (CMS), video playback, and ad-serving platforms, along with an advanced understanding of demand-side, supply-side platforms, and data management platforms strongly preferred.
  • doneExcellent communication and listening skills with the ability to speak to all members of a team and bridge gaps in communication between departments.
  • doneTechnical understanding of Connected TV and Online Video streaming and monetization workflows across all major sell-side platform vendors leveraged by publishers is helpful.
  • doneExceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to drive client communications and explain technical concepts across varying audiences.
  • doneKnowledge of computer vision technology, ad networks, SSPs, and DSPs is a plus.
  • doneExperience with Business Intelligence and data structures in Excel and/or SQL, CRMs such as Salesforce or Hubspot, and project management/task tracking tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Asana are preferred.
  • doneSelf-Starter with a strong level of time management skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritize independently.
  • doneStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • doneThe ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively is necessary and encouraged.
